There's a line of reasoning that humans should not intervene when they see conflict between species because it would "interfere with the natural order". Humans interfere with nature on a grand scale every day, I think actions such as these are not just fine, they should be thoroughly encouraged.

Thursday night I was lucky enough to tick off another photography milestone - documenting the moment when a cicada nymph molts its skin to reveal the adult within. For these smaller species the change is quick, they can anchor on a tree, molt and then go forth in 30 minutes #BugSky

I'm not great at videography on my phone but here are some cicadas molding from their nymph stage in my driveway last night - they're either zip tails or ambertails. I'll edit proper macro pics tonight.

Saw this tonight and I'm not going to lie I was confused for the first half of it, got up to speed in the third quarter and then it just abruptly ended. It was nice to Skeet Ulrich again though #FNAF2

Had to rescue this crested pigeon that had gotten stuck on my mum-in-laws 14th floor balcony - wings seemed fine, probably lacking the intellect to work out why it couldn't get past the glass panel. Taken to a local vet for rest and check-up.
