Oh yeah totally. I usually play on easy mode as well. The only kind of games where combat actually appeals to me is multiplayer PvP. Single player combat is just tedious, no matter how good the AI is, so I usually want to get through it as quickly as possible.

I wish my NPCs could move so gracefully...

The people who engage are mostly the ones who follow you on both platforms, no? Maybe they choose to do it on Mastodon because of a higher character limit... For me it's mostly random, I comment wherever I see the post first.

Great talk on engaging game documentation. Eye opening in many ways, and well delivered too!

That sucks! I guess simply capturing it with something like OBS doesn't cut it?

I post updates almost every day as I make progress on my project, so it's kinda weird to day it's "too soon", haha. I just happened to replace the low poly placeholders I had previously with these modular guys a few days ago, so I posted about it.

There are 3 types of bodies: normal, bulky, and large. And right now they are distributed as 80% normal, 10% bulky, and 10% large. But of course I can always tweak those proportions.

Well of course they're assets. I'm a solo dev so I can't model a variety of custom NPCs from scratch. What I am showing here is the system for combining the modular parts and giving them custom color schemes so each one is unique. Any clothes and animations I add will also be assets by the way.

Yeah, same. Guess it's time to rewatch Legacy, hehe.

The premise itself was kinda interesting, but for me it was the art direction that was lacking the most. The world (both the real and the virtual parts) was just missing the surreal and eerie feel that made Legacy so memorable.
