Look closely at the fuselage of the "Il-76" on the pre-destruction photos. The shadow looks like the outline of a radar dome. The destroyed aircraft in question is more likely Russia's only Beriev A-100LL.

That is not an ordinary Il-76 airlifter! As noted by @avivector.com, the location matches that of Russia's only Beriev A-100LL experimental radar surveillance aircraft.

Wait, what? Did last night's strike ALSO destroy the Beriev A-100LL - i.e. the original prototype of the A-100?

It is one out of only two A-100s and its destruction could be much more important than that smashed A-60.

Looking forward to see those satellite photos!
