creating for yourself first and foremost is the most important thing. ocs don't have to be perfect if they're perfect to you.

if for any reason you DO want more people to enjoy your oc art on top of that, just be excited about your own art and show ppl your characters interacting.

My favorite thing to see with OCs is someone radiating all sorts of passions with their characters. It shows that there's a lot of love put into them and I, for one, love that

Personally, what I want to see is some lore. Like, most of the OCs I saw are cute/pretty/handsome and all but it's all I know T^T. I'm a weak simple person. I see a cute oc I follow. But I need some lore! Someone yapped about their oc to me in the DM once and I had a blast!
