2025 HEADLINE OF THE YEAR
January 1, 2026 at 1:26 AM
I looked into this two years ago. I found the price point for (1) light, (2) foldable and (3) electric... were for bikes in excess for $5,000.

Which is a lot.

Apparently, there are electrification kits. So if you find a foldable / light bike you like, applying a kit might be a solution?

Don't buy it off of Amazon. You want to be able to lift and have a feel for the weight of the bike, particularly with managing that stairs situation.

I echo @tinybeaches.bsky.social — pop into @bikebikeyyc.bsky.social.

9.9/10 game.

Reminded me of the untold hours I played Knights of the Old Republic I and II as a little one. Going to sit with the feels now.

A question for the ages: do I rage because I'm Albertan, or I am Albertan therefore I rage?

Anyways, thank you, Ron, for the kind note.

My grumpiness is omni-partisan.

But, MC is probably the best person to sort a lot of things out, but it doesn't keep me from seeing *waves arms around* all of the problems.

Oh boy. The comment section of the dying Postmedia network is always such a treat to read. Blegh. Thank you for diving in and reporting back on the tire fire that's their website.

I am subsisting on Wor Wonton and spicy soup. It's... needed. 811 nurse thought it might be, possibly Norovirus, or some form of gastro-malady.

I think I'm good.

Just can't venture too far from a water closet.

Happily. My mother and grandmother were nurses, and... this situation really bothers me, at a really basic level.

In any event, Health Quality Alberta has a nifty guide on the statistics surrounding EDIPs: focus.hqa.ca/wp-content/u... [PDF]
