I can't get over the tiny little die they give you, I bet its small enough for a rat to play games with!

... Now assembling the ships however was a real pain though, the materials these are made of is real thick so you really gotta force them into those slots, and it's especially rough when you've got big hands. But they're fun to fiddle with afterwards. And they comes with teeny tiny dice too!

... So the pack itself comes with a fair bit of content, pieces for two ships, some game components, and rules and instructions. Not bad for something I got for only four bucks when these things normally seem to go for 10 to 14...

...like I'm not sure if this was before the cannon 8 and Rudolph were codified, or if approaches like this were done more to have one or two characterized reindeer, but still it's fun to see these deviations.

These depictions of Santa always fascinate me, though in general, I find that I'm more fascinated with depictions of popular fictional characters that stray from the "cannon", but not for the sake of specifically straying from the cannon for parody reasons or to be subversive...

...It's similar to the thing with mascot characters with a hot human girlfriend. the initial thought process is "man, this dud has a hot chick!" and not "why is this woman falling for a hedgehog?"

I guess really, how weird it is depends on where you put them in the anthropomorphism spectrum.

Oh? you working on a game? or just did it as a creative exercise?

ooh, that marker rendering style! I've been doing that a lot lately too!

Though I'm also wondering if a blog is really what I need. I want to actually share my thoughts with someone, there's a chance a blog is just me shouting into a void, no better than just writing a diary.

From what I know about other modern rituals, it's likely either:
● Thanks to a marketing campaign, like with bacon.
● Formed from economic necessity and just stuck afterwards.

That seems to be how many of our dietary habits form, at least ones that weren't imported from elsewhere.

You know, at times I'll often lament how it feels like this holiday is getting cannibalized by Christmas, but lately I have seen how this is really a day for mourning for many Americans, and I kinda wondered if it getting eclipsed by Christmas may actually be a good thing in this case.
