2/2 ALL of those things above have been severely lacking under @mayorbowser.dc.gov--and the reason is that powerful entities like it that way AND DC's elected reps have benefitted from those entities.

--Pepco has more reliable service;
--Residences are used for that purpose on Capitol Hill;
--Parking enforcement occurs regularly;
--DGS collects & has receipts for rent for DC-owned properties;
--DC has meaningful traffic control & slowing.

Just say that until Citizens United, elected officials in Congress were not able to profit from campaign donations and public service, so they actually worked for We The People instead of corporations.
