2/2 ALL of those things above have been severely lacking under @mayorbowser.dc.gov--and the reason is that powerful entities like it that way AND DC's elected reps have benefitted from those entities.

--Residences are used for that purpose on Capitol Hill;
--Parking enforcement occurs regularly;
--DGS collects & has receipts for rent for DC-owned properties;
--DC has meaningful traffic control & slowing.

Such a shame women haven't made this into a betting game: You say/write/email something, no one responds (bc it's like you didn't say/write/email anything), then 30 seconds later a man does the same thing and voila!

Just say that until Citizens United, elected officials in Congress were not able to profit from campaign donations and public service, so they actually worked for We The People instead of corporations.
