Sadly, the job market in tech/IT is cooling off. I have spent a few months talking to all sort of companies, startups and other tech players in Europe. In the coming days I will post my key observations.

The latest open-source LLM from Deepseek, a Chinese AI company, is quite impressive. Some say it is on par with gpt-4o and claude 3.5 sonnet, which is perhaps too much of an statement. It does great at parsing. However, @techcrunch.com was right: the model has some interesting political guardrails 😆

By the way, a few months ago I created an app called "Ain't Nobody Got Time for That" (aintngtft.com) to scratch my own itch: not wanting to spend 20 minutes watching a video on Youtube to know what it is all about. Sometimes it is easier to just get the quick summary.

Oh waw, this is scandalous! Probably a class action lawsuit waiting to happen for Paypal. Their browser extension Honey misleads users and steals affiliate commissions, fundamentally undermining both consumers and the very influencers that promote Honey. Unbelievable!
