In a world where it's tough to know what is the right thing to do and what is the wrong thing to do, we all have the wisdom to discern between what we can do to prevent immorality, and what we cannot.

I'm on top of a food chain, and I I'm also vegan. Craaazy how that works totally fine!

I wonder if people have dreams and aspirations to become vegetarian or vegan one day.

Can't relate, this is the last thing I wanted to be. But here we are, people. Here we are.

Today my plant looked at me with his hungry eyes and I was like - oh shit! Did I actually forget to feed you today???

Jk, plants don't care, it died quietly.

I'm in a circle of life and I'm vegan.
Just breaking stereotypes all day every day.

I feel cheated.
Where's my church? All the other cults get pretty churched, charismatic psychotic leaders, implantation of alt reality, draining of resources, emotional manipulation, death & suicide, and ALL I GOT is this lousy ethical stance???
Maybe veganism is not a cult, maybe I was mislead.
Everyone relax: #veganism is not a cult. If it was - we'd have a church made out of avocado pits.

Words matter; indeed, the biggest threat to animals are the words that we use. Speciesist language shapes bias & reinforces the denial of animal personhood. If artificial entities can have legal personhood, so can animals, who actually possess the breath of life.

The obvious truth is that we MUST grant rights to animals. It's so obvious when we witness the abuse of dogs, and it should be much more obvious to us that we should grant rights to farmed animals - and stop exploiting and slaughtering them.

Each sentient animal is a unique individual with a conscious, subjective existence & the capacity to suffer. Each therefore is a subject of justice deserving of full moral consideration & hence the bearer of inviolable rights. Each has a legitimate right to life & bodily autonomy.

A few of those animals are still alive, spending their last moments of life in a pile of dead bodies. ¬30% of broiler chickens will die in agony before slaughterhouse date. Each year, over 500 million will die this way - that's 1/16 of the human population, just in the US.

Chicken has had a golden health halo for decades, gobbled down by people who think swapping beef for birds is some kind of upgrade. But new research just blew that halo to pieces, and it should force us to ask: why are we still eating animals at all?

JD Vance is not wrong - people who cry about #kaya being shocked by #hasan are mostly hypocrites who pay for far worse being done to #animals for their taste pleasure. It's just that it includes Vance & crosses the isle as opposed to his dog whistle about the left. #freekaya youtu.be/hOO6sQ30blY?...

I hate the type of posts that follow the formula "it's **this year** so why do people" blah blah whatever the fuck, but it truly boggles the mind that in 2025 people think they need animal-derived foods for something magical that I apparently can't get in my 10 years of a plant-based diet.

If you care at all about the 🌏 & a viable #future but are not yet vegan- PLEASE 🙏🏻 take a moment to read & consider this important thread 💭
1. It's fascinating to see, as you can from the responses to the post below, how many daft things people believe, to justify their continued meat eating. So let's examine a few of the common myths in the following thread. 🧵
For years, there's been a massive over-emphasis on food miles, and a massive under-emphasis on food type.
By far and away the best dietary decision you can make, for environmental, humanitarian and public health purposes, is to cut out animal products.

This is my argument for #veganism.
If this doesn't seem right to you - let's discuss.
