More Christmas tat! Local garden centre - we bought the light globe, and ate lots of free samples. We also bought daughter the last four bottles of Lilley's elderflower cider, as requested.

Went via Dunelm to buy more Christmas tat, and now I'm drinking tea.

Lots and lots of pots! Went out with husband, but he had to get back. Then son phoned, so I stayed on, and bought more tea (plus a brownie, because I keep trying to feed up my skinny beanpole of a son).
Everything was in the dishwasher at that point, which is why son got a mug instead of a teacup 😆

They're back drilling in our road again, only this time they're doing the speed bumps. Why they didn't do them at the same time as redoing the entire surface is anybody's guess 🙄

Tea out with son. I discussed my next assignment with him (adapting my first assignment into a screenplay) and I forgot he used to be a drama kid. He had loads of helpful suggestions for me.
Turns out that your kids grow up and eventually prove useful - knew I kept him in snacks for a reason 😆

A very successful shop for stocking presents, plus daughter and girlfriend have chosen their favourite main meat for Christmas from the list I sent them, so I can order that when I get home.
However, if people don't tell me soon what main presents they want, they're getting whatever I buy!
