In an effort to share more joys: I GOT TO GO IN SOME CAVES

While exploring a short passage that sloped down into nothing, I turned back to see my family waiting for me, framed by the arched passage opening, their flashlights glowing back at me across the rocky ground. It was rad.

"Isolation will not save us." Really feeling this right now (as someone fairly isolated thanks to long covid).

Some people will be constrained by their everyday responsibilities, such as childcare, or by their community’s refusal to address access concerns, such as COVID safety. Whatever holds us back, we still need to find ways to connect and participate in collective struggle because isolation will not save us.
