Found this badge Daughter made for her dad when she was younger 😅

She always used to call him the "world's number 4 dad" and when quizzed as to why 4th place she'd say it was "more realistic"

This is genuinely the vibe of my Zoro/Mihawk-while-Sanji-watches-with-heart-eyes-from-the-cuck-chair WIP.

Step 14: admire ur bag!!! Ignore any wonky stitching IT ADDS CHARACTER 😅
November 28, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Step 13: push the lining down inside the bag, press the seam allowance down towards the bottom of the bag, and top stitch around the bag opening.
November 28, 2025 at 9:16 PM
Step 12: place outer (with right side out) inside lining (inside out) with top raw edges together and straps down out of the way, and sew along the top, joining them. Leave a gap to pull the outer through. Turn the whole thing right side out through that gap.

Step 11: baste the handle in place at each side of bag outer.
November 28, 2025 at 9:07 PM
Step 10: repeat the steps for the outer with the lining.
November 28, 2025 at 9:00 PM
Step 8: sew the flap inner to the flap outer with right sides together, clip corners, flip right side around. Admire the nicely squared off edges.

Step 8: baste flap to top back of bag.

Step 9: hand sew lower part of magnetic clasp in place.

Step 6: sew the front and back outers together.

Step 7: square the bottom corners.
November 28, 2025 at 8:20 PM
Step 5: make bag strap

(Not pictured: me calling my iron a dirty little bitch because it left a smudge on the lovely pristine pale pink bag strap I'd just sewn 🥲)

Step 4: hand sewing one side of the magnetic clasp onto the inner bag flap.

Making a bag tonight, chat.

Step one: cutting out the pieces and ironing on the fusible fleece interfacing.

Step two: making a patch pocket.

Step 3: top stitching patch pocket to inner lining piece.

Too many things 😅

For OFMD: A sprizzy modern day au, a short but angsty EdIzzy fic, the last chapter of my married-to-estranged-to-reconciled CJizzy fic, the next chapter of my JimIzzy vampire daddy kink au, the next chapter of my Star Trek AU.

It's weird to knit with - it comes apart so easily in your hands, so you have to be careful not to put too much tension on it as you go. But once it's knitted up it's strong and won't break, because of the fiber length. Magic, really!

I knit this with it a few years back.

Absolutely.

Yknow how the Chinese censorship coloured all the blood in white? To me, they uncovered Zoro’s deep truth and improved the series immeasurably 🥲

Y E S.

Shanks: Behold! It is I, the Alpha wolf!

Mihawk: I thought that the entire concept of alpha wolves was a misconception?

Beckman: Yeah, but we let him pretend. It makes him happy.

I also love Icelandic wool, especially lopi, though more so for outerwear.

Lettlopi is so rough it hurts my hands if I work with it too much, but the pullovers I've made with it are fucking WEATHERPROOF.

And plotulopi is fascinating to work with, it's unspun and sold in plates of drafted roving.

This is such a boring answer but a good quality, sturdy, fairly toothy sheep's wool. Maybe shetland. Not superwash, not too highly processed, but with plenty of spin to it.

It's good for colourwork and hard wearing. Gets the job done, unfussy and upcomplicated, and will last a generation.

Zoro and Sanji are known as the "wings of the pirate king" - they're opposites, in many ways, in terms of both skills and personality. Sanji is sharply dressed, charming, so damn smooth, and fights without weapons. But both are essential to Luffy, his right and left hands.
