With respect to the Scottish greens, they’re not the arbiters of transphobia in our party. Things have improved, but progress isn’t linear, and we remain in an unfortunate position where a full half of our representatives in parliament - 3/6 - among other party figures, have engaged in transphobia.

I was in the room for his conference speech. It was fine. I’m glad that, so far at least, he’s kept his soft transphobia mostly to himself.

What I want you to do about it? I don’t know, be kind to trans people, call it out if someone is being bigoted. Nothing that’s not standard allyship.

Zack Polanski’s landslide win is cool, but it’s not the slam-dunk “greens hate transphobia, woohoo!” moment that some seem to think it is.

I can’t even be excited about Zack winning, because all i can think about right now is the 2 whole years we’re about to waste dealing with this guy’s tomfoolery 🙃

For campaign co-ordinator, I think it's worth mentioning that the other candidate, Asma Alam, did have "trans rights are human rights" in her candidate statement

Actually i think they said that at some point in the future, we will be able to trade 2 star cards at least. So, not yet but. There’s hope!
