I think some transfemmes struggle to ditch the worry that, as women, we might still be carrying the same weight and type of energy we carried as “men.”
So we have to be EXTRA CAREFUL, or we’ll break the glass world around us. And then cis women will be angry with us.

There is something to be said for living in a time when being vulnerable is more dangerous than ever. Even if just because within our community everyone has so little that risking vulnerability with people less likely to have space for it is a huge gamble.
