A great battle between the army of the Blades of Khorne and the Lumineth. The Aelves seem to be in trouble in this furious assault by Chaos! The army of the Flesh Eater Courts breaches the Reclusians' fortress to free those they believe to be prisoners. The Orruk army defends its territory by attacking the Citizens of Sigmar with fury. The Idoneth army lands impetuously on the beach dominated by Chaos.

With arms crossed and wearing long white robes, a young woman leans against a pillar and offers the audience an apathetic glance. Behind her, the warm glow of the setting sun—unseen behind low billowing clouds—illuminates the water and the tilted remains of a futuristic city. It's not clear if the city is sinking or rising out of the water. On close examination, human and animal bones can be seen in relief on the surface of the pillar. The weathered stumps of other pillars can be seen in the field around her. Small creatures, cute and furry, stop for a snack on alien vegetation, which includes red flowers that stand vibrant among the muted greens in the foreground.

So intro time for the new folks. I’m a storyboard and occasional concept artist for film and tv. I’ve worked on Star Trek Discovery, Pacific Rim, IT, The Thing, loads more. I used to draw comics for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and 2000ad/Dredd. I designed Pennywise’s smile makeup by accident one day.

Quicksand Elemental rises from the murky swamp, skeletons of drowned victims are embedded in its body of slimy mud and tangled roots. It looks at you with glowing red eyes. Digital painting. Dryad of the Oak or ‘Girl With Acorn Earring’ It is a version of the Vermeer portrait ‘Girl With Pearl Earring’ but this girl is a Dryad, a tree spirit from Greek Myth. Her hair is Oak leaves. A brown, shiny acorn hangs from her leaf-shaped ear. They are the Darkspawn from the Dragon Age games, undead creatures resembling goblins and ogres, they are well armored, brandishing sword, axes and halberds, crowded together and staring you down like they are posing for a horrific club photo for the yearbook. Rat King. Ten thousand scurrying rats fill the robe, hold the scepter, lift the sword, wear the crown. Digital painting.
