After a bit of manual labor post match to clear the head, that’s mostly a game of bad bounces. Most days that’s a draw and in a fair few it’s a win, but an uncharacteristic defensive error and two screamers turned it into a loss. If we defend like ourselves we’ll be fine despite the blah attack

We lost at home to a much worse team and basically went to pieces after taking the lead. No excuses. Just be honest.
We avoid honesty ahead of a big game out of some sense of superstitiousness. And I get it. No one wants to “tempt fate.” But look at that United lineup. At some point we have to make a statement and today would be as good a time as any.

Was always going to be really tough given the above, just lacked intensity and looked very sluggish. Taking an age to release the ball when building from the back, even Rice missing loose balls. But another point gained at the top this weekend. Hope for plenty of rotation in Milan.
