Single, childless cat lady. And for this I am apparently contributing to the downfall of civilisation. Not sorry.
It's an odd thing, because when it comes to immigration, Britain is too full. But then we need to produce more children. Make it make sense, please!
As a woman would you really vote for this, Reform commanding Women what to do with their own bodies.

For various reasons (mainly a lack of confidence in my own abilities) I haven't cooked for anyone for over 4 years. I have a friend coming over this evening and I have made a veggie lasagne. If you ignore the burnt bit, it doesn't look too bad!

Just been to see Wuthering Heights with my book club. Martin Clunes is very good.

Valentine's day. A day of love, romance and passion. So I spent it loading old bricks into my ex's van in exchange for him bodging up my car to keep it going just a bit longer.

Dear Labour. If you want support, nationalise water, make buses and trains affordable outside London, tax billionaires, and stop-being trans and immigrant bashing arseholes.

Just in case any Labour MPs might see this, a spot of uber-woke, net-zeroist, rejoinerism would be lovely, thank you.

Quite frankly, this seems an unnecessarily tall steeple.

I feel that if Mr Sitwell went to the NHS and they recommended exorcism for whatever affliction he presented with, it says more about Mr Sitwell than the NHS.
Curious. It was definitely an x ray I had last month. Not an exorcism. 😏

I'm always a bit shocked when I'm reminded Mandelson is Labour. He always comes across as someone perfectly Tory.
Peter Mandelson has written to Labour's general secretary to 'step down' from party membership. Labour was being called on to suspend/investigate; his being an ex-member may prevent/impede that. I think Mandelson is currently on leave of absence from House of Lords

He's now wearing one glove to hide his rotting hand.

I am just gonna say it, these guys are completely emasculated by the knowledge that they have been out-organized by a group that is significantly made up of women, and all the bullshit call of duty nonsense is cope for their wounded egos bsky.app/profile/jeet...

I have read the thread on books and bookshops and I will give the writer no further oxygen, suffice to say he is wrong on all points.

I'm too busy browsing bookshops to point out why he is wrong (and where he contradicts himself).

Stop.

Hen harriers are close to functionally extinct in England, because driven grouse shooting estates ruthlessly exterminate them because they predate the red grouse that toffs and traders will pay £35k a day to mow down with shotguns.

Carry on.

I try to be really careful how I present myself on social media. I don’t want people to think I’m some sort of enraged, unhinged woman pushed to the utter edge by current events.

I want them to be absolutely *positive* I am.

Glasgow, a city with absolutely no art schools whatsoever.
NEW: Glasgow City Council has just approved a massive AI-generated mural to be painted in the city centre.

The illustration of Scottish elements inexplicably contains a bald eagle.

The planner says those upset about it are "keyboard warriors" who should "calm down"
