It’s different but not jarring. Sanderson does a good job of keeping a similar style but puts his own spin on it. The biggest change I noticed is that he jumps between characters a lot more frequently, which imo makes the pacing and energy better for the high stakes at the end of the series.

Good choice since the full WoT series has taken me a year to read 😆
