pretty simple imo
the same image from the original post in this thread now with digital drawn lines added to show how to solve the maze. A green line begins at the arrow indicating the start of the maze but goes in the opposite direction indicated on to the adjoining wall and crossing the width of that wall where the line changes to blue to indicate the line is traveling on the unseen 4th wall. The line reaches the other seen adjoining wall and travels around the doorway to reach the finishing point. Previous description: the applejacks apple standing in fromt of a wallpaper maze. he says "here's my room! isn't my custom wallpaper amazing? solve the maze on the wall to find the way out of my messy room! then we can make like an apple tree and leave!" the maze is unsolvable. P.S: That's what the apple jack apple looks like now?

Dandadan fans that got a hole in their lives since the s2 finale should really read Charlie Jane Anders's All the Birds in The Sky. It's basically doing the same bit as dandadan but with witches and robots instead of Japanese occultism and aliens.
