Got randomly reminded of Imperator today, a MMO project they hyped back in 2005 where you would play as warhammer-styled roman cybersoldier (got quietly cancelled a few years after it's announcement).

Watched City Hunter: .357 Magnum (1989) tonight and had a great time ! The characters are fun, animation well made, actions scenes entertaining and I really liked the jazzy/pop soundtrack. If you're a fan of random OVA's, check it out !

Played the demo for REVEREND – Surf ’n Sin yesterday. Good tropical theme and atmosphere, very simple gameplay, repetitive music and weird level design but that's a neat start, kinda reminded me of old custom Duke3D maps

Decided to get the PC Gamepass for the holidays and wow, I can't believe how bad @microsoft.com servers are 🙄 You'd think with all the money they make, they'd implement a service that doesn't take 3 days to download a game that Steam would in like 1 hour.

Played the demo for Race of the nine worlds today and wow, the production value is INSANE ! Great graphics, fun gameplay and the choice of adding a story mode to a racing game is just amazing. 🔥 100% worth checking out !

Burnout Legends. Probably the best racing game on the console. Another overlooked title would be Sid Meier's Pirates, which is a surprisingly faithful & competent adaptation of it's PC counterpart.

Finished the game a couple of times and it was alright. Clearly not as good as Adventure 1 & 2 but some of the levels are pretty fun. The dark and edgy themes were kinda out of place for the Sonic franchise but other than that, I enjoyed it for what it was. Still much better than Heroes imo.

Finished the game a couple of times and it was alright. Clearly not as good as Adventure 1 & 2 but some of the levels are pretty fun. The dark and edgy themes were kinda out of place for the Sonic franchise but other than that, I enjoyed it for what it was. Still much better than Heroes imo.
Played the demo of the new Painkiller and while I was skeptical of the coop multiplayer aspect, I don't hate the game. Kinda reminds me of Vermintide and Left 4 dead. Not sure if it will justify it's price but we'll see.

Hot take: They should re-release Naughty Bear (and its sequel), maybe even make a new one. It was ahead of its time and would probably be better received today.

Still mad we never got Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned. Looked so promising. Disney should absolutely revisit it someday 🏴☠️ the world needs more pirate games.
