I figure that if the act of traveling counts, then occupying the airspace of a state I never set foot in is equally valid, and since airports are similarly a nowhere-space, an on-the-way-to-elsewhere space, then those don’t properly count as “visiting”

Solidly agree, airports kinda feel like a joint purgatorial non-space, sharing the same spirit of Airport much as libraries share the feeling of Public Libraries

Gonna warn ya, the ferment ate up most of the sugars, so right now it’s mouth-puckeringly sour. It’s also pretty young, so the pomegranate juice still makes it taste like fermented juice. If you’re ok with that, then I’ll look for a weekend we can sit down and set up a lab
