Hundreds of people? They took my design, resculpted it, cast it and sold it. Also, it is very easy for someone to buy a sculpture and make their own duplicates to sell. So you are suing anyone who makes anything that looks remotely like the things you make? I bet you make more money settling out of court with struggling independent artists who can't afford a protracted legal battle than you make actually selling your art.

I need you to realize NOW that the police (yes, ALL police) are fascist. This post from the NYPD is theatre. Cops do this whenever there is a large mainstream event. They want you to think you are protesting the “right” way so that you stay within the confines of their control. Don’t fall for it.

Bleh. From my open enrollment reminder. I am glad Colorado is offering assistance but concerned it still won’t be enough for me. I guess I will find out in a few weeks. This sucks, ya’ll.
Financial help is changing. Federal enhanced Premium Tax Credits (ePTCs) are scheduled to expire on Dec. 31, 2025, unless Congress acts to extend them. Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTCs) and Cost-Sharing Reductions (CSRs) remain available but are returning to pre-pandemic levels. This means many customers will receive less financial help next year. Premiums are expected to rise. Insurance companies have indicated there will be rate increases for plan year 2026. Final rates will be published soon. State help is available. Colorado is introducing Colorado Premium Assistance (CPA) to help reduce monthly costs for households between 100% and 400% of the federal poverty level. While CPA may not replace the reduced federal support of ePTCs, it will still provide meaningful savings for many families.
