Ah hell, there goes my privacy. Utterly terrifying being exposed. The eye of god sees everything.

Kinda wish I had this as a trading card.

I'm quite excited.

That's too rich for me. I just had paper and pencil. 🥲

I'm hoping it's not a situation where their responses to make it appear they gave a different answer when they didn't. I saw that happen to a historian in a Netflix documentary series. Best of luck.

I see they will be tackling the end of the Aztec Empire and I am not prepared for how that may be depicted. Often Tlaxcala is left out of the narrative or somehow everyone joined against the Triple Alliance when that was impossible. I'm very worried about this documentary.

I have multiple questions and concerns from the trailer. Tackling the giant elephant in the room, the Samurai were a class of people not an ethnicity. I am going to take a blind guess the BBC is referring to the Seinan War (Sasutma Rebellion) or the end of the Shogunate.

Antitheism is a bigoted stance. Anyone who argues in favor of it are no allies to anyone. It reuses the same colonial and civilizing arguments from its predecessors to justify force. The branch doesn't fall far from the authoritarian tree.

Bro, I'm atheist. 🤣
Are you arguing Atheists are religious now?

This took a left turn into wacky town. I've lost my patience with poorly structyred anti-theist arguments. Bigotry is bigotry no matter your background. Be gone!

When you claim "humanity would be better off without it" guess how that is accomplished? Elimination by force can bring many atrocities.

Your statement is why I don't trust western ideas of "liberation" and "spreading democracy". It's just a code word for occupation, violence, and exploitation behind a superficial view of rationality. Kill the believers in order to save them just add the words primitive and uncivilized.

It's a myth that is frequently debunked. There is a reason why I mentioned the American policies post 9/11 for claiming x religion in inherently violent. It's a way to legitimize western hegemony and justify neo-colonial violence. You have to blind yourself to not see military occupation.

Such thinking leads to discriminative policies and Islamaphobia. If you want to see how desrructive these ideas become look no fuether than the American policies in the Middle East.

I'm very wary of anti-Catholicism comments as there is a chance there is a pro-Protestant argument underneath and that's not a helpful solution to the problem but it's sure popular for folks who are unaware. 🫤

This, humans will use their religious beliefs and anything else to justify anything. The important part is that we discuss and act on the ongoing problems present in every institution.

What bothers about the claim "Historians called them roomates" is that historians aren't old cis white men for decades. I feel like folks are unaware of LGBT+ historians or would rather ignore they exist. The other issue is how not all romances are sexual. Asexual and platonic relationships exist.

It makes me wish this was animated to the style of Paprika.

This fits perfectly with dream logic. One minute you are hiking up a mountain then next thing you know you are working in your uncle's underwater super market while working a kitchen in the living room.
