It turns out it's the link you posted - it has a tracker ( please don't do that, its not cool ) that redirects specifically to Amazon US. And Amazon US it not allowed to sell books in Europe, I think. Manually searching it on Amazon Germany allowed me to buy it.

There have been at least 2 ways to transport oxygen in evolution. And heme is red only because of its side groups and party because of the protein scaffold. The other oxygen carrying heme version is green even though it has iron.

Shower thought: In the ancient past, there must have been violet blood, an intermediate the blue and green blood of invertebrates, and the red blood of vertebrates. Turns out there exists violet blood even today, but not for the reason I thought. #Evolution surprises as usual. #science #colors
