Pam Bondi pardoned a plastic surgeon who allegedly pretended to give children Covid vaccines and sold Covid vaccination cards ($50 a pop) to over 1,900 people. She said the government’s will shouldn’t be imposed on patients (except when it comes to abortion and gender-affirming care, I guess).

The big “why do you hate AI?” Thread got comments and quotes turned off, but here’s the main reason I hate AI:

It’s being developed by the worst people on the planet solely to enrich themselves at the expense and labor of the world’s vulnerable populations. Everything else stems from that

36 years on, it still sounds amazing.
If you turn it up loud enough you can drown both your sorrows & the sound of your knees cracking when you get up.

That is exactly what Rothko's paintings do and why they are so important. They strip everything back to the basis and give it back to you. Like a child recognising the hidden geometries of the universe. Who is to say what wonders will work in you!
I went to the Tate Modern yesterday. In the Rothko room with all the Serious Art Connoisseurs there was a ~5 year old kid who walked up to each painting, pointed at it and shouted 'RECTANGLE' at each one in turn, then left the room.
