I can't tell if this is about Heated Rivalry or Yuri on Ice

O'Brien's kids also survived although they had a few close calls.

Every time someone gets a child of some sort on Star Trek this happens.

I have a hunch that square enix deliberately avoided it because they're going for a simultaneous multiplatform release and want to avoid confusion over it.

This is the reason I love Primrose Azelhart so much.

In the episode Waltz while Dukat is ranting, one of the things he complains about was Bajoran terrorists blowing up a transport killing a bunch of cardassians but I have always thought Garak was secretly responsible for that incident based on The Wire episode from Season 2.

Recently? There was like a new alien species almost every episode of TOS. Most of them are one offs that have never been seen again. Sometimes multiple! The episode that introduced the Gorn also introduced some obnoxious god like alien we've never seen again.

These particular talks were pushed for by Student protestors who wanted to attend Starfleet Academy. The goal of the diplomats was to show the students what a terrible idea it was. Normally this is stupid but you're not going to convince students of anything by having closed doors private meetings.

Older PG movies got that rating because PG-13 didn't exist yet. For example, Batteries Not Included has bare nipples and a PG rating. Back then they kind of assumed a PG rating meant parents would actually use judgement on when to show them to their kids.

I understood what you meant I just thought it was a little unfortunate phrasing.

Overall, the credit card method is more secure, more accurate, and less harmful than selfies or ID based methods. It requires companies are PCI compliant but since they all sell you things, they're probably already compliant.

There's no AI involved at any point. You don't use AI to verify credit card data, and it can't accidentally think you're underage. It also doesn't help train facial recognition software.

You can't fake a credit card. The level of confidence in accuracy of CC info is extremely high. Selfies can be easily faked. You can steal one, of course, but I think this is harder for most people than faking a selfie.

Unlike a government ID, a credit card has only your name as identifying information. It has no photo, DOB, or other information. Furthermore, it changes every few years, or if you're overly cautious, you can report it lost and get it changed immediately. ID information can't always be changed.

I feel like this isn't really a fair comparison because SFA is drawing on like 60 years of trek lore for nostalgia hits. I think it's a good show, just that TNG S1 isn't really the same thing.
