We'd all welcome a return to democracy in Venezuela. But this lawless action in the Caribbean, in which so far 27 people have been killed. It is tantamount to murder. There is no weight of evidence, no respect for life, it is just satisfying the ego of MAGA diehards. Human lives don't matter? Again?

It's a video from an Isael proponent who takes issue with "free speech" when it is an incitement to violence, as well as related issues.
Bottom line for me: violence isn't the way to peace OR justice.

Every decent person should bear in mind our history with Iran. We overthrew their government in 1953 and installed the shah. I don't remember 1953, but in 1978, I was in college. The shah's secret police, the "savak" were very much feared and loathed by Iranians studying abroad.

In the #Iran conflict, the divide "should we or shouldn't we have not bombed Iran" seems to cut through both sides of the political spectrum. Some even complain that he didn't listen to his DNI, Tulsi Gabbard, the pro-Assad, pro-Putin asset. I find this to be ridiculous. Gabbard? Gimme a break.
