Beers was a defenceman 8 years for 4 teams. His best was a split season with the Lightning and Oilers in ‘93-‘94 with 43 points. He won the Calder Cup with the Providence Bruins in ‘99. The Boston Bruins originally drafted him as a University of Maine Black Bear.

Coffey was a defenceman 21 years for 8 teams. He’s an 8x All-Star, 3x Norris winner, and won the Stanley Cup with the Oilers in ‘84, ‘85, and ‘87, and with the Penguins in ‘91. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in ‘04. He was born in Weston, Ontario.

123 - Sergei Makarov

Makarov played right wing 7 years for 3 teams. At age 31 with Calgary in ‘89-‘90 he won the Calder with 86 points. The next year he led the league with a 32.3 shooting %, the 2nd highest ever, and is in the Hall of Fame. He was born in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

122 - Bob Essensa

Essensa was a goaltender 12 years for 5 teams. In ‘91-‘92 with the Jets was his best as he led the league in shutouts (5), had a 2.88 GAA, and was nominated for the Vezina finishing 3rd behind Patrick Roy and Kirk McLean. He was nicknamed Backup Bob.

121 - Tom Barrasso

Barrasso was a goaltender 19 years for 6 teams. In ‘83-‘84 at age 18 he won the Calder, and Vezina with the Sabres, the next year he won the Jennings and was the Vezina runner-up. He won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in ‘91 and ‘92. His nickname is Tomcat.

120 - Ilkka Sinisalo

Sinisalo played right wing 11 years for 3 teams mostly with the Flyers. His career high came in ‘85-‘86 with 39 goals and 76 points. He’s 12th all-time in Finnish goal scoring in the NHL. He died in 2017 due to prostate cancer at the age of 58.

119 - Tom Laidlaw

Laidlaw was a defenceman 10 years for the Rangers and Kings. His best season was as a Ranger rookie ‘80-‘81 with 29 points, but as a King in ‘88-‘89 he was +30. In 2019 he was a contestant on Survivor: Island of the Idols, the 1st Canadian to be on the show.

118 - Patrick Flatley

Flatley played right wing 14 years all but one with the Islanders. He was a a 1st round pick from the Wisconsin Badgers where he won the ‘83 NCAA Championship. His best season was ‘92-‘93 with 60 points. The back of the card is from a game March 22, 1990.

117 - Tim Watters

Watters played defence 14 years for the Jets and Kings. He was drafted in the 6th round by the Jets from Michigan Tech, and played in two Olympics for Canada in ‘80 and ‘88. His best year was as a rookie in ‘81-‘82 with 24 points. He was nicknamed Muddy.

116 - Kjell Samuelsson

Samuelsson played defence 14 years for 4 teams. He was drafted by the Rangers as a 26 year old playing in Sweden. In ‘87-‘88 he was an All-Star with the Flyers, and then won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in ‘92. He was born in Tingsryd, Sweden.

115 - Rick Zombo

Zombo was a defenceman 12 years for 3 teams. Detroit drafted him in the 8th Round from North Dakota where he won the ‘82 NCAA Championship. Primarily a stay at home player, he had a career high +24 in ‘87-‘88. He grew up in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Cloutier was a goalie 12 years for 3 teams. He was drafted by Buffalo from Trois-Rivières where he holds the CHL record for most wins in a season with 58 in ‘78-‘79. He won the Calder Cup with Rochester in ‘83. He was born in Noranda, Quebec in 1960.

Chabot was a centre 8 years for 3 teams. He was drafted by Montreal out of the QMJHL where he was the player of the year in ‘81-‘82 playing for Sherbrooke scoring 143 points in 62 games. He’s seen here battling Mike Krushelnyski in a game January 18, 1990.

Murray was a centre 15 years for 5 teams. He was drafted by Chicago and had his best year there in ‘85-‘86 with 45 goals, 99 points and won the Selke for best defensive forward. He won the Cup in ‘96 his last year in Colorado. He grew up in St. Albert, Alberta.

111 - Shawn Burr

Burr played centre and left wing 16 years for 3 teams. He was Detroit’s 1st round pick (7th overall) in ‘84 from the Kitchener Rangers, and had his best year in ‘89-‘90 with 24 goals and 56 points. He died in ‘13 from a fall after complications from leukemia.

Hatcher was a defenceman 17 years for 5 teams. He was a 5x All-Star, and career highs came as a Capital with 65 points in ‘90-‘91, and 28 goals in ‘92-‘93. He also was top 10 in shots 2x. He grew up in Detroit and played for the Little Caesars 15U AAA team.

Duchesne was a left winger 14 years for 5 teams. He got Selke votes his entire career, but his career high points was 52 with the Capitals in ‘86-‘87, and 24 goals with the Nordiques in ‘87-‘88. He died of a heart attack in ‘07. He was nicknamed The Duke.

Weeks was a goaltender 13 years for 6 teams. He was drafted out of Northern Michigan and in their Hall of Fame. He was mostly a back up and his best was in ‘88-‘89 with the Canucks with a 2.98 GAA and .892 SV%. He was born in Scarborough, Ontario in 1958.

Chambers was a defenceman 13 years for 4 teams. He became the only player selected in the supplemental draft to win the Stanley Cup winning with the Devils in ‘95, and Stars in ‘99. He has the lowest rating (1) in any sports video game in NHLPA Hockey ‘93.

Smail was a left winger 13 years for 4 teams. He was an All-Star once here in ‘89-‘90 but his best was also as a Jet in ‘84-‘85 with 31 goals and 66 points. He was the 1st NHLer to go directly to the UK league playing for the Fife Flyers in Scotland.

Ranheim was a left winger 15 years for 4 teams. His rookie season here with Calgary was his best scoring 26 goals and 54 points. The year before he was the IHL rookie of the year with Salt Lake scoring 68 goals. He went to high school in Edina, Minnesota.

Boschman was a centre 14 years for 5 teams. His best season was as a Jet in ‘84-‘85 when he scored 32 goals and 72 points. His last season he was the Senators inaugural captain in ‘92-‘93. He was drafted by Toronto in the 1st round as a Brandon Wheat King.

Young was a goaltender 10 years for 4 teams. He played most as Penguin and won the Stanley Cup back to back in ‘91 and ‘92. He is the only player in history to have won the Memorial, Calder, Turner, and Stanley Cups. The Chicago Wolves retired his number 1.

Macoun was a defenceman 16 years for 3 years. Undrafted out of Ohio State, he was on the NHL All-Rookie team in ‘83-‘84 with the Flames, won the Stanley Cup with them in ‘89, and then again with the Red Wings in ‘98. He was nicknamed Crazy Legs.
