While Brianna has been tweeting from her garage with multiple porches, I’ve been walking around Washington DC in 15 degree weather, talking to people who hate me.

Brianna does have a grasp on the political thought of people outside the trans community. That isn't a privilege, but is hard work. It is difficult to see them as people you have to work with instead of opponents. You get nowhere treating them like enemies.

This is wrong bordering on bizarre. Tpot was connected enough to get in early, but mostly went back to Twitter pretty early on.
4/Now that Dorsey has bailed as a board member and principal funder, Bluesky’s DNA is basically TPOT people. Who is going to win in that scenario? I don’t know, but I’m not putting money on the users. The most recent funding came from Blockchain Capital LLC...

This is wrong bordering on bizarre. Tpot was connected enough to get in early, but mostly went back to Twitter pretty early on.
It just occurred to me that if Twitter fractures to 5 other sites, but each is those sites has a much tighter list of friends I actually want to read… that’s kind of still an improvement.

I love seeing high openness online communities. When I log off, I often see significant status competition in my irl circles.
The more I think about this, the more I wonder if transactionality, wrt any given person, should vary proportionally with their tendency to engage in status competition?

I never really did a vibecamp post-mortem. I had ~15 people show up for some part of my karate workout. Would've been more if BJJ hadn't scheduled before me and the rain hadn't cleared the field, but I was satisfied with the turnout.

I just remembered I never rolled my memory foam mattress up today, which means I don’t have to roll it back off. That’s so nice when I’m tired and just want to plop down on it.
