LCW documented on Friday, 21 November, the killing of content creator Al-Khansa Mohamed Abdelmajid Al-Mujahid (34 years old), after unidentified armed men opened fire on her following the interception of her vehicle in Janzour, west of Tripoli.

The potential withdrawal of #latvia from the European Convention on Preventing and Combatting Violence against Women and Domestic violence (Istanbul Convention) is very concerning +would mark worrisome roll back on commitment to ensure women’s safety,equality and dignity.I urge Latvia to reconsider.

This week we heard of the successful overturn of a #familycourt case where a mother (referred to as *Sara in the reporting by @hansummers.bsky.social @tbij.bsky.social) had seen her daughters removed from her care in the name of the #pseudoscientific and #misogynistic ‘#alienation’ label.
