#October reading wrap up on #Storygraph! Started to hit a slump, but Natural Beauty came at just the right time to remind me how much I love #horror. Too bad I couldn't read more of that genre during spooky season, but who's gonna stop me from enjoying horror in November? No one!

Just started Natural Beauty by Ling Ling Huang and I’m already halfway through! It reminds me of The Writing Retreat by Julia Bartz and A Better World by Sarah Langdon- fever dream #horror with #sapphic under (or over in 2/3 of these) tones. Really enjoying it!

Books and pages read and hours listened, 2024 compared to 2025. It’s interesting to note some monthly trends and how the introduction of audiobooks has bulked the amount I’ve read! Wonder how the rest of this year is gonna look!

Just finished Daughter Of The Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller (in 3 days) and absolutely loved it! It’s my first #pirate novel, and it opened up something in me I haven’t felt since watching the Pirates of the Caribbean films. I’m excited to keep reading the series!

Just finished this on audio yesterday… it’s a harrowing memoir detailing the journey author Alex Abraham went through as psychedelics helped uncover severe trauma he had long repressed from childhood. I do recommend, but only to those who can handle severe triggers relating to CSA.

I’ve officially read 50 books this year! Last year I read 59- I’m definitely going to surpass that! It helps that I got into #audiobooks for the first time, I’ve been devouring them like crazy 😊
Now if I could just get my pages goal on track…

The fact that manga is now top 5 in the genres I read is insane considering I've just started reading it in the last 2 years! I've really grown to love manga and anime.

Day 30- The Book You’re Reading Right Now

The Absinthe Underground by Jamie Pacton

Needed a break from the heavier stuff I’ve been reading lately, and I’m enjoying it so far! Sad this is the last day of the book challenge tho, this was fun!!
