You've had your revenge: I was coming up the stairs and heard a *creepy AF* hooting/piping coming from the (dark) bedroom.
It was only the gale blowing through the air vent, but it gave me the proper heebs.

Why isn't there a trade dedicated to the tracking of out of the ordinary house noises? Back in the days when cars had more moving parts mechanics could track down odd noises (usually).
