I really, really love the Witcher 3 game. The only thing I really, really don't love is Morkvarg, the cursed werewolf. He's a big shouty whingebag who sounds exactly like the late Ian Paisley. "Hrrrr hrrr, eh carrnt ayte, eh arm KARSED and the KARSE CARNT BEY LAFTED."

Jesus christ.

That's a lovely frosty morning.
I've lived in this area my whole life and I'm still always surprised by the fact that it's a bit frosty where I live but a mere 7km south of that everything is frozen solid.

It seems this guide dog took its training to see *everything* just a bit too seriously.

"Speaking on Spanish television earlier this week Rub*ales claimed he was the victim of a “sudden far-left movement”.
Well, that's cleared that up then, rather than take responsibility for assaulting a woman he has claimed he was compelled to do the Timewarp.

At 2am - while I slept - Liz got some great shots of the aurora rippling away over the house.

I've no clue as to what title Jesus might have, but this guy and me very nearly had an audience with him when *this guy* realised he was in the wrong lane on the roundhabout so just went into the right one. At speed, right in front of me.
"Collision warning!" flashed the dashboard
"No shit", I hawed

My Christmas leave reading arrived today.
It's so tempting to start now, but I want to immerse myself fully.

Burlar blur tit has returned - with additional camouflage. Not really necessary though as he has taken to banging on the window with his beak.

Thanks to fireworks exploding literally over our roof last night, Glinda sequestered herself in her "fuck this" box-bed under our bed.
When it began to rain she rejoined us on the sofa.
Later, she got into the festive spirit.

I know. It's the one time of the years that it's a complete pain in the hole having that green space right next to us. Yes, thankfully it's chucking it down now and all is quiet. Letty is asleep in her chair and Glinda has come out and is sitting between us on the sofa.

Since fireworks are literally exploding over our roof, we're also lucky that our dog doesn't care about fireworks. She was off her baps on morphine the first night she spent with us - Halloween 2014.

At training today hosted by the Bar of Ireland - I never realised the Ashling Hotel has a plaque noting the whole 7 months that Wittgenstein lived and worked in that building.

Letty is happy to be back home after being happy to be in the car after being happy to be at the vets - where she saw her auntie Sinead. She hadn't seen her since she was a pup but ran to her and rolled over for belly rubs.
She happily displayed her neck for bloods and then had a boat load of treats

I haven't seen Mulholland Drive for about 20 years. It really is a masterpiece and good as Memento was (is/will be) Memento is Telly Tubbies by comparison.
Also, this scene at the end - maybe it's because I'm older now, it's just so sad. Literally, I felt like a tenor bell that had been struck.

I really wish I had gone for it with the social policy section. Maybe next time.

So the bluetit has figured out how to use the open back door, is not at all afraid of us, Glinda or Letty and was quite happy to come in out of the downpour.
