Space Marine 2 is so unintentionally hilarious
I constantly laugh at how their tiny heads poking out from their giant armor makes them look like Stretch Armstrong
Then, after the triumphant, explosive finale of each mission, it hard cuts to the guys on the ride home looking like they need a hug

The default accomplishment in KSP is getting to the moon and back, but I've been doing that for 10 years now.
So, I decided to learn airplane design, and circumnavigate the globe as fast as possible.
Sub 1 hour, more than half fuel remaining. 18 very carefully placed parts. Very satisfying.

I aspire to be this stylishly nonsensical

The marketing team must have been up all night making this one. What gorgeous branding.

For a Halloween video, I was half expecting a dramatic buildup to the death of one of the ad read guys

Reminds me of Sunset Riders ending with "Good job podner!"

Spend some time reflecting on your choice of reflections, samurai

Another release, another signed TWRP album for the collection.
I'm especially happy to have the Ladyworld EP, since it was so early that Doctor Sung signed his full name, and Havve Hogan didn't sign with his doodle face yet. It's the first edition Charizard of the bunch.

Apartment life really has its charms, I feel so safe and cozy in my little pad.

This is a hilarious brightness setting screen.
Usually they ask you to make sure you set it dark enough for an atmospheric experience.

Meanwhile, Fatal Frame is kind enough to say hey, look at this creepy fucker, make sure you're able to see them or you're gonna have problems.

I hadn't noticed it in my first playthrough of the series, but in Mega Man Zero, Aztec Falcon is a regular boss, taunting you and mentioning that Harpuia sent him.
Then, in Zero 2, Harpuia shows up *riding Aztec falcon, who's walking on all fours*
This series envisions a kinky ass future.

Jonathan and Charlotte from Portrait of Ruin might be a fun duo.
Alternatively, Eric Lecarde from Bloodlines would be fun, being the only human pretty enough to be worthy of Alucard's spear.

I think I have the most basic, 2009 list possible.
Left 4 Dead purchased twice because I played it for two days, thought it was the coolest thing ever, and bought it for a friend.
I still really love that game, even more than 2. The atmosphere hits just right.

Cyrodiil mage's guild: necromancy is bad, so we banned it. To join the guild, you'll have to do chores for us, so we're sure you're nice.
Vvardenfell mage's guild: Get this bitch to join us. If he doesn't, ice him. This other fuck owes us money. If she doesn't pay, ice her too.

Achievement stats can be so funny some times.
In Styx, more people kill TWO HUNDRED ENEMIES than finish the second level (this is supposed to be a stealth game).
Meanwhile, in Bayonetta, more people have finished the game than used the *core mechanic* 20 times (you can do this in 1 fight).

I've started reading Judge Dredd, and to say that the tone is a little different than what I was expecting would be an understatement.
Not only is a fight between fast food brands our plotline of the week, they're using the real name brands, logos, and mascots. What a different era.

Fired up KSP again for the first time in years, and I forgot how much I love orbital rendezvous.
Had to make a munar refueling station, which links with a rocket, which links with a pod, where the rocket is used for a retrograde-burn sled to get the pod to the surface efficiently. Very satisfying.

The original Dr. Strange run in Strange Tales definitely shows its age sometimes, but man, the art is so wonderfully evocative. The writing is also surprisingly ambitious, going on huge 10+ issue arcs when the norm for the era was four at best.
It's easily my favorite run of the silver age.

I'm sending my best wishes and hoping y'all can find some time to kick back, relax, and absorb new power from your enchanted triangle on this upcoming holiday weekend.

This Doctor Strange comic from 1964 has to be one of the first beam clashes in history, right? (Strange Tales #119)
I always think of it as a DBZ thing, but I guess it was decades old by then.

I always liked these floppy droppy leech guys (chute leeches I think?).
They didn't seem quite as malicious as the other enemies, and more like a predator that evolved to eat a smaller creature we don't see in-game. I like when enemies feel at home in the world like that.

Just finished reading Green Lantern through Blackest Night, and I really liked it... except for one thing:
Cowgirl was introduced as a major character in #1, only to be part of a Betty-and-Veronica thing 20 issues later, then disappear entirely.
WHY DOES EVERY WESTERN COMIC DO BETTY AND VERONICA

I feel like this panel should see way more use than it does.
