i wish i’d gotten to see john prine. he came to fresno in maybe 2017 or so and my partner at the time and i reeeeally thought about going and we didn’t because tickets were pricey and we’ve regretted it ever since.

some veg ones just lack chewiness and it just doesn’t ~hit~, y’know? this brand is perfect, though. i truly don’t know how they do it and why no one else can figure it out lol. i will say, though, the ones in the bulk bins at sprouts are also super good!

hmmm, excellent question! i can’t say i’ve ever tried lol. most of them have kind of a weird texture, so i think they’d swell but maybe be even gloopier, but i dunno, these ones are pretty true to the original!

ahhh, i hope you get a chance! i’ve caught them three times. actually, they played for so long at that coachella that i think they cut the power on them lol. they do, like, three hour sets, it’s insane.
