🐝🍄UMD Bee Lab investigates a range of threats impacting bees, including nosema, a microsporidian parasite (spore forming fungus) that can infect bees & disrupt their digestive systems. We take a peek into the lab as Kensie Olson prepares specimens to monitor hives for spores.
