Meet the Insect Zoo's newest residents - 𝑃𝑒𝑟𝑢𝑝ℎ𝑎𝑠𝑚𝑎 𝑠𝑐ℎ𝑢𝑙𝑡𝑒𝑖, aka black beauty insects, a species of phasmids. These beauties are native to Peru, but clearly Marylanders at heart, sporting #UMD colors with pride – red, white, gold & black.
