iirc it took me *months* to get Geena's movement feeling anywhere near this polished last time, so I'm pretty happy with my pace so far. At this point, I'd say I'm probably done iterating on her base moveset and am ready to start building out the game's other core systems (resources, enemies, etc.)

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these but again I especially adore The Upturned and An Outcry is the one I most want to see more people play

The Upturned dual-wields comedy and horror in a way that regularly resulted in panicked laughter (and is probably my favorite of the bunch), Withering Rooms is a maximalist action RPG with a lovely soundtrack that I just adored, and Yuppie Psycho is an adventure game about the Horror of Office

Amnesia is the most straightforwardly "scary" game, but I loved its take on survival horror and how those elements merged with the series' core mechanics. An Outcry is made by a friend who is an excellent storyteller. Sorry We're Closed is gay as hell and has fun classic survival horror energy.

favorites from the last several years include Amnesia: The Bunker, An Outcry (very heavy but excellent), Sorry We're Closed, The Upturned, Withering Rooms, and Yuppie Psycho, all of highly varying degrees of horror but *some* kind of spooky in their own right

In a *way* I'm glad Unearth went on a multi-year hiatus and I'm now rebuilding it in Godot, since I'm getting a chance to redo a lot of the game's weaker bits with a few extra years of experience under my belt.
It'd be great to see you revisit GFR! Whether in the form of a sequel or as a remake.
