The weirder thing about this is, there are well-proven voice and mic techniques, as well as software, which eliminates (or significantly reduces) sibilance while recording.
How is it these experienced voice actors neglect to (easily) mitigate a known issue that reduces purchases of their works?

While selecting a few audiobooks, some Narrators/VA's have a deeply annoying sibilant "s" persistent throughout the sample clips.
Strangely, some of them have no sibilance while voicing characters. It only presents during their "narrator voice".
