Old Millennial, nothing special, just someone who believes actual provable decency, honor, and selflessness is a bare minimum for leadership. Oh, and I can & will absolutely ruin you with just words. If you try to bring the smoke, be ready for the fire.
If people haven't yet, glad more are starting to.

I've been calling them all traitors since the first failed impeachment.

Speed.

Story centered on the nigh explosive power of mass transit.

That bus is da bomb...

No, no, I'll see myself out.

You mean your 100% correct opinion.

Because the true economic win will go to the first company to create a true "maid", one that can do any household chore that a human can do...

And sex robots.

If you create both in one robot, you will be printing money until the sun goes supernova.

Reminds me of learning about the Hapsburg dynasties, and the massive inbreeding and subsequent problems it caused.

Today's rich and powerful people aren't much different I suspect.

Insulated from failure by money, they don't even need to learn to write or read properly.

I think she's aware of the danger too, not long ago she tweeted something to the effect of "if something happens to me, I am happy, not depressed, and not in any way suicidal".

Though I do wonder if they would they still do a "mega-violent-crackdown" if a hypothetical sacrificial ICE agent dies to retaliatory violence in a small rural town in a solidly red state?

I imagine that very few of these agents are locals to the cities they get sent to after all.

25ish years ago, it could "in theory", based on "data" that "I" may or may not have run across, it was roughly equivalent to a lower-middle class job, re: the total hours, stress, and overall "salary".

Able to pay for in-state tuition, rent, and recreation, before "retirement".

Nowadays, no clue.

Yeah, crypto is basically just the latest ponzi scheme, amplified by overt crime.

It has no use cases beyond "but numbers go up!" It is a middle-man to existing financial transactions, with zero added value.

And just like all ponzi schemes, the only profit is by cashing out the last suckers money.

Just like all those other times in the past that an old guy was able to accurately predict what young people think of the world and will then do, purely based on the totally 100% true version of events all young people tell their parents and other olds when asked for their honesty about their plans.

Fear.

I suspect they are afraid of consequences and unexpected / unpredictable retaliation from those they choose to harm on a daily basis.

Nothing is less predictable than the actions of angry/starving people.

They know now that their plan to blame Democrats for the shutdown has fully failed.

Don't consume yourself trying to figure out if *this* hypocrisy is the one that will break through, it won't.

Ever.

The only thing that breaks through is when hypocrisy is specifically what hurts them. So focus on letting people know who they supported that is happy with causing their misery.

By forcing them into a business model that makes it so that billionaires no longer have any influence in the editorial process.

Or just bankrupting them so their influence dries up and those billionaires have to sell them off.

Or the revolutionary French model of reform. That would probably work.

Wasn't CNN purchased by a billionaire last year? Decidedly unsurprising that they'd choose to be enemies of freedom.

CNN deserves to go bankrupt, so do whatever you can to help. One way is simply ignoring their links/posts, giving zero views to their BS.

Deprive them of any visibility whatsoever.

I mean, let's be honest, that Linkin Park+Jay-Z combo album Collision Course was a banger.

Only 6 (12?) songs, but always a welcome memory whenever my music doohickey gets to that album.

This is 100% a calculation that anyone who didn't immediately cancel is a locked in subscriber who will not notice or care if the price is raised slightly.

I already dropped them & won't be signing up again, even if they resurrected the show Gargoyles.

But, I admit I could be tempted by Gargoyles.
