what i like the least is the disruption slant that has started happening for runeblades, i feel like they have soooo much already, adding disruption on top of that doesn't feel right. the consistency issues also kinda suck, but they suck in a fun way, i'm okay with some variance

spellblade aesthetic rocks so hard. runeblades feel pretty modular, they can not only be made to do many different things, but they can swap gameplans on the fly. fatigue aurora was a legit strat sometimes! flexing between aggro, setup, block-out, etc. offers a loooot of skill expression

there’s def more i could say, but idk, they made themselves pretty clear. people are bored of the format, so they put out some small bans to get people to explore some other options so people actually attend rtn season, since last time this happened, it sucked

there are a lot of lessons to learn about game balance from this recent meta + banlist. a balanced game isn’t necessarily a fun game. actual balance is not the same as the perception of balance, and perception is often more important. a nerf harms the perception more than the actual balance, usually

i feel like most of the people i've met playing riftbound either never played league, or they haven't seriously played since 2015. which is great for the community!

assuming the boxes just have their own bulk in them, and roughly counting each stack on the right and supplemental sets as half a box each, there's like ~56 "boxes" at ~350 each, plus the sleeved up cards in the open boxes on the right which are prob another 1-1.5k cards
