i remember the uproar over the “9 month lexi meta,” which was ultimately a fine series of metas with a lot of variation, but because lexi was left relatively unhit and at #1 for so long, people were staying home from a pq season out of boredom of the format

won our blitz skirmish on aurora! it was a 4 player event so it really doesn't mean anything lmao. but i had a lot of fun piloting aurora again, i'm so excited for her to come back in the format

skirmish on blaze today! using dm armada’s deck, made top 4 with first seed and lost to kayo. brutes do so well into wizard ;-; this deck is soooo fun, i’m really sad she’s functionally leaving the game with blitz being relegated to the sidelines

6 years with my wow guild, over a year in classic anniversary, and a few months slowly gathering shards from naxx while never missing a raid: i'm now the proud owner of atiesh! just in time for tbc :D

my main complaint about the PQ policy is that it breaks carpools. driving 3ish hours to an event is peak regional fab, and if you gotta do it alone because your passengers all won already, maybe you don't go either since it'll be boring. or the only willing driver won and now no one can go :(

i like sharing opinions on the internet AND joining popular trends! just the card games i've played at least casually enough at some point to really form an opinion, and it's my opinion of the format i played the most. some alt formats (like edison for ygo) would be much higher up/much lower

watched summer time rendering recently. it feels like it was made in a lab to make me go "THAT'S TOO MANY SLICES" at how absolutely packed it was with everything between great ideas and terrible ones. but it was ambitious, and it managed to be compelling, which is all i really ask for. 7/10!

i know some people were/are unhappy about LL at fab worlds, but watching this super high level LL gameplay is SOOO fun. i wish i could play LL more often ;-;

i’m at a 2 year olds birthday party today, and she’s barely even touching her smash cake. kids these days are so ungrateful. you give that cake to me and it’s going in places you didn’t know existed. i’d be nationally ranked in super smash cake in 2 months

played in bh tacoma today! went 1-3 and dropped. lost a possibly winnable game into cindra, and lost into gravy through super bad variance (all 3 vs lost by teklo foundry heart/boots ;-;) then lost a funsies round into a friend on kano who went for fatigue into combo midgame, threw me off lol

i wonder if anyone has tried to make a "dps simulator" for fab before, like a wow sim but it evaluates value per hand based on a priority list and sims like a thousand games to get an idea of the average and variance as you change cards in the list
