The never-spoken bit: Our school was slated to close about a decade ago but now has two kindergarten classes. Well done, infill, in saving us the expense of building a new school, community, and infrastructure at the city’s edge and instead refilling our emptying neighbourhoods.

Air Canada is already part of the consortium and this is why. They would want to sell tickets that include a train leg. Similar to the KLM bus from Ottawa Tremblay to YUL.

Sad thing with that is the kid can’t really see much on the journey. It’s a big downgrade from the high car seat adapter.

On our Ecobee for our Midea heat pump it’ll list Aux (1 or 2 stages of resistive) as one of the pieces of equipment. Stage 2 heat is showing the heat pump ramped up.

It’s supposed to be held in by the straps and clamps they provide on the bench, but they didn’t hold well. So it’s held in place by the little person and the UA straps which seemed very sturdy. He loved the switch to facing forward. Naps are harder (more head bobbling), but otherwise great.

We bought a Melia seat for our son in our Urban Arrow. It’s overpriced but it’s pretty much the only option from what I can tell. The straps it comes with are not going to hold a kid in well, so I just undid the UA straps, threaded them through, and used them instead.
Toddler Seat
Made specifically for cargo bikes, this comfortable toddler seat will keep your child secure until they are big enough to sit on the benches unassisted. Also perfect for taking naps on long rides! PLE...

Not even close to the same thing. In Ottawa the system was rushed into service and had legitimate issues on multiple fronts.

This is slow because the trains don’t have priority at intersections and has been in testing for a very long time.

Ottawa doesn’t have a single level crossing with cars.

The sign on the window almost always vandalism. Not sure if that’s the case currently.

I got eliminated this morning by someone blasting it in their car in bumper-to-bumper traffic as I walked down Booth St.

And it’s like this because of our colllective inability to hold drivers accountable to safely operating their vehicles.

Robots also drive for essentially free. I’d imagine the on train operators we have in Ottawa are a huge contributor to the cost of running.
