This will be my first ever HAED stitch-along so naturally, I needed to photograph the full floss buffet beforehand. There’s just something so amazing about seeing all those skeins lined up. Honestly, it’s a bit like wrangling children; just more straightforward, less sticky.

So if you didn't know... I signed myself up for the Heaven and Earth Designs 2026 stitch-along. I then spent an unreasonable amount of time laying out every single floss skein in colour order to admire the rainbow (while checking I did in fact, receive every colour).

For The ’tism Community’s Consideration: My Spoon. 🥄
A cross-stitch tribute to the perfect spoon (and a nod to 'Spoon Theory' too).

Sure, embroidery floss is essential in general, but for me, it must be high-quality, colourfast, and smooth to work with. DMC is my absolute go-to and what I use in all of my pattern designs.
