The new rig has been nice. I did find the scope was a bit too heavy for the am5 without a counter weight though. Probably gonna go to an off axis guider at some point.

Just finished streaming @nobreadstudio.bsky.social ‘s new VN SoulSet for the Fall in Love VN fest. The game is well done and is a wonderful mystery. If you enjoy VNs in this vein, I’d recommend it.

Cottage loaf.

Delicious and easy to make, although I burned my hand on the pan. Mary Berry recipes never fail.

After putting away my rig for the night, I grabbed a pair of binoculars to quickly look at the Orion Nebula and Jupiter rising in the east. If you have a pair, I highly recommend doing the same! They’re super easy to find and won’t disappoint, even with light pollution.

I've come a long way from my first-ever attempt at #astrophotography on the Andromeda galaxy. This time around I spent 7 hours photographing it. I still have a long way to go, but I've loved every step of the way. #photography #astronomy

NGC 7023 - The Iris Nebula

The bright star at the center of this nebula illuminates the dark, shadowy dust surrounding it. This dust is difficult to photograph, and only becomes apparent in dark skies.
