Five different people have brought up the Robonic Stooges in this post. To which I ask: how the fuck is a crappy Hanna-Barbera cartoon from the 70s a battle shonen?
Loonatic Unleashed is such a fascinating relic of the 2000s action cartoon boom. Because so much of the show is reframing classic Looney Tunes bits into a Teen Titans/Ben 10 mold. It's like if the Three Stooges got rebooted as a battle shonen.

Some folks, after seeing the 1st trailer for the new Street Fighter movie, are disappointed that it's not going to be gritty and serious, but I don't think that's possible. It's looks like this film is going full cartoon, and I'm here for it. It can't be worse than Legend of Chun-Li.

Is there some kind of requirement that the characters and visuals in adult animation have to be rump ugly? It's enough that 90% of adult cartoons are stoner humor and gratuitous shock jokes (the other 10% are arty crap) but they could at least be pleasant to look at.
