He hasn't successfully distanced himself from any scandal, he's just creating new ones every week. His party & the right wing media help him get away with each one by downplaying them or outright defending him.

Did you read it? He's very clearly not a piece of shit. You have to realize that there are far more important things than saving unsuccessful films or TV shows. He was hired to slim down WB because they were failing, do you expect him to not do his job?

I don't think Discovery wants to sell though. They want to break away. So the Netflix offer is "better" because they get what they want.
