Yep, completely ignoring facts and truth because we're "supposed to" vote Republican. It's exhausting trying to even have conversations deeper than sports or weather because they're SO far into their own little bubbles

A - it's inconvenient for them
B - they're told it's Fake News by the likes of Sean Hannity all day long on the radio (or from memes on Facebook these days)
C - when they were youngsters, they heard "it's gonna be the next ice age"

My uncles have almost annually commented on how much snow there used to be for deer season (coming off of a near-60 degree opening day yesterday), and how the deer migration patterns have slowly changed over the past 50+ years...while still denying climate change or anything.

I've been using @resist.bot to contact Rep. Huizenga for over 5 years, and everything I've written him about has been responded to with nothing more than Republican talking points - blaming Dems or liberals, and not much else in the way of content. I sadly never got to hunt deer when I studied in the UP. I'm heading to the northern lower peninsula tonight though!
