So unemployment is its highest since November 2021. The stock market is its lowest since last April - wiping out a year of growth. Visas are revoked and people are deported for minor violations or no cause at all. Our allies and partners are furious with us. This is making America “great”?

So apparently a small number of Rep. Senators *might* cross the aisle to block the Canada tariffs. I have mixed feelings: on the 1 hand, these tariffs are sh*t. On the other hand, I kind of want everyone to really see the ignoramus they elected.

Call me crazy, but maybe instead of focusing on who is playing on which high school sports team and claiming that someone has an “unfair advantage” we focus on what kids can *learn* from high school sports: leadership & teamwork, discipline & perseverance.

Let’s not get confused here. The US federal budget for F2024 was about 6.75 T. For Musk and co to find 4.7 T of payments that are “unmarked” isn’t evidence of waste and graft. It’s evidence that this group doesn’t yet understand the system they are wading through.

So I know this isn’t the biggest inanity out of the current administration- but what is the beef that Elon and Donnie have against WFH? Do they seriously think that everyone just sits around in their pjs watching YouTube, then lies on their performance reviews and somehow no one catches them?
