I would estimate there were over 300 people at any one time at this Go-Go concert and protest rally

Crowd is only growing at 14th and U NW, Washington DC, in concert and rally against the occupation

Many West Virginia cities and communities have far more violent crime than Washington DC does.

West Virginia is not heaven (not even almost), and Washington DC is not hell. Both WV and DC have real problems to deal with. Sending in WV National Guard is not about solutions. It's about occupation.

Finished the first of 3 weeks of Croatian classes at the University of Zagreb! It's great to be back in the region. If you're in Zagreb (or know someone I should meet here) over the next two weeks, let me know!

We joined about a hundred people in Parkersburg, West Virginia for #NoKingsDay . Pro-democracy organizers in this Trump +40 county especially honored the service of veterans and federal workers.

A Tesla cyber truck with an apparently Nazi license plate is also a repeat speeder, putting my neighbors in danger.

I think a fundamental aspect of freedom is freedom to move, to choose where you want to live, to choose whether and where to transplant yourself.

I've seen reports of drivers claiming to be associated with Police Week intentionally hiding their license plates (e.g. www.reddit.com/r/washington...). Will MPD be enforcing laws against all violators in DC, including those who claim to be out of state police officers?

When someone's book about how vetocracy in New York, the Bay Area, and other Democrat governed areas of tens of millions doesn't adequately address the issues facing several hundred thousand people living in rural Montana

A fascinating surprise on my ride through Rock Creek Park in Washington DC today - a coyote!

I recently moved within DC and now I live very close to the Smithsonian National Zoo. Some days I can hear the siamang gibbons' calls from my home.

(Video is from the gibbons up close, not from my place. But it illustrates the sound).
